

Friends of Center 50+ is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization established in 1992 to provide services and funds to the Salem Senior Center
DBA: Center 50+ for the operations, support, materials, services, and capital improvements of the facility.
Since 1992 Friends has:

Assisted in the opening of the new state-of-art facility on Portland Rd

Contributed $85,000 to the Center's Annual Budget

Secures funding from local businesses to support 20 different annual events

Funding the Center's Mission to evolve and grow to better serve this fast growing population, the 50+'rs of the Willamette Valley

Funded Home-bound Senior Visitor Program and the Friendship Brigade nursing home visitor program

Funded Center 50+'s COVID 19 response providing over 1,375 weekly connections to area seniors through friendship and Care/Food boxes.
